AB Universal Putty

Sylmasta AB Epoxy Repair Putties are ceramic-filled, making them harder wearing than other putty and suitable for the repair and bonding of all materials.

Sylmasta manufacture two versions of AB. Original comes with a two-hour work time, allowing large quantities of putty to be mixed, shaped and applied without the threat of premature curing during the undertaking of complex repairs.

AB Original offers excellent protection against corrosion, is chemically resistant and bonds and repairs effectively underwater. It is used in a host of applications, including: pipe repair, corrosion protection, encapsulation, damage repair, as a filler, brick repair, levelling uneven surfaces, making prototypes, electrical insulation and in marine environments.

Two formats of AB Original are available. The standard supplies part A and part B as separate components which are measured out by the user, allowing greater control over the mixing process. AB Original Sticks combine resin and hardener in a pre-formatted stick, where the user simply cuts off the amount of putty required and kneads by hand.

AB Rapid 5 Minute is a faster working version with a five minute cure time. The accelerated work time of AB Rapid means that it cannot be used underwater and it only offers good chemical resistance compared to the excellent resistance of AB Original.

AB Original is available in original white, black or grey. AB Rapid can be purchased in white or black. Sylmasta have the facility to produced custom coloured epoxy repair putty for specific applications, such as brick repair. For more information on this service, please email Sylmasta.
