Products in the Sylmasta Epoxy Putty range are mixed and applied by hand to permanently seal cracks and holes, make filler repairs to surfaces and machine parts, and for high strength bonding. Unlike most other suppliers, Sylmasta make their own epoxy putty sticks in the United Kingdom using the latest manufacturing technology. This guarantees fresh product, a reliable supply chain and reduced lead times.
Superfast Epoxy Putty Sticks are designed for rapid repairs to specific substrates. There are nine different formulations including steel, copper, aluminium and wood. Cure times are as fast as three minutes and three of the formulations have WRAS Approval.
Sylmasta AB Epoxy Putty is our original, general purpose putty. It is ceramic-filled, making it harder wearing than other putties. It comes as either a two-part putty with separate components of resin and hardener, or a pre-measured 200g stick.
Two cure speeds are available. AB Original has a work time of two hours, offering longer to form and apply the putty in complex applications without the threat of premature curing. AB Rapid comes with a five-minute work time for tasks where speed is desired.
Epoxy Underwater Repair Putties are capable of bonding and curing to wet surfaces and underwater in freshwater and saltwater environments.

Additional information about Sylmasta Epoxy Putties
For making repairs to pipes and fittings carrying drinking water, use Superfast Steel, Superfast Copper or Superfast Aqua PW. All three formulations have WRAS approval, meaning they are safe to use with potable water.
Superfast Aqua PW has also been tested and verified for making repairs qualifying to ASME PCC-2 Appendix 402-III – Validation for Repair of Leaking Component when used in conjunction with SylWrap HD Pipe Repair Bandage.
All Sylmasta Epoxy Putty Sticks are manufactured on-site in the UK – making us the only supplier in Europe currently producing its own sticks. This means we can offer a reliable supply chain, fast turnaround and guaranteed fresh product.
Our machinery also means we can manufacture customised formulations to meet specific client needs, including adjustments to cure times, colours and putty stick size – either 200mm diameter standard sticks or 300mm diameter ‘fat’ sticks
