Description

The Superglue Kit contains all three grades of Sylmasta Cyanoacrylate Superglue and Ultra-Fine Nozzles to cover every kind of application.

Each glue is supplied in a 20g bottle. Purchasing glues as part of the Kit offers a reduced rate compared to buying each grade separately.

Included in the Kit are CAE1500 High Viscosity Superglue, CAE 120 Multipurpose Superglue and CAE3 Penetrating Superglue.

CAE1500 bonds instantly to absorbent materials including wood, card and fabrics. When used on non-absorbent materials, it cures in between 5 and 25 seconds at room temperature depending on the substrate. This slightly longer bond to cure time enables more control over the adhesion and assembly process.

CAE120 is a medium viscosity glue which bonds instantly to plastics, rubber, metal, porcelain, ceramics, jewellery and fine china.

CAE3 is a low viscosity glue as thin as water. It penetrates porous surfaces and wicks into cracks and closely fitted parts. One drop of CAE3 can be dispensed into pre-assembled parts, locking them in place.

The Ultra-Fine Nozzles included in the Kit are used to apply drops and beads of glue as small as 0.5mm. This creates cleaner, neater glue lines and reduces wastage.

Sylmasta also produce a Superglue & Activator Kit. It contains the same products as the Standard Kit along with a bottle of 50ml Activator.

Activator is used to speed up the cure time of glues. This is particularly useful when large volumes are being applied. It also prevents porous materials from absorbing lower viscosity cyanoacrylate glues.
