Description
Sylmasta Universal Superglue Debonder is used to soften cured superglue, breaking down bonds for unsticking parts and removing excess glue during clean up.
It slowly turns superglue into a jelly-like substance which can be easily wiped away with a tissue once the breaking down process has completed.
When applied to bonded parts, it weakens superglue joints to enable disassembly. Superglue Debonder can also be used for removing excess glue from fingers and textiles, and for cleaning up accidental spills onto all types of surfaces.
Universal Superglue Debonder is sold in 20ml bottles and is effective in breaking down bonds on any superglue no matter the manufacturer.
Sylmasta manufacture three grades of their own cyanoacrylate superglue. CAE120 Multipurpose is a medium viscosity glue for instant bonding of plastics, rubber, metal, porcelain, jewellery and ceramics.
CAE1500 High Viscosity bonds rapidly to wood, card, fabric and other absorbent materials. It has a slightly longer bonding to cure time when used on non-absorbent parts, enabling more control over the process.
CAE3 Penetrating is a low viscosity glue as thin as water for penetrating porous surfaces and wicking into joints, cracks and closely fitted parts.
All three grades of Sylmasta Superglue can be purchased in one Superglue Kit, offering a cheaper cost compared to buying separately. The Kit comes with Ultra-Fine Nozzles for dispensing beads of glue as small as 0.5mm.
There is an additional Superglue & Activator Kit, containing the same products as the Superglue Kit plus Activator. Sylmasta Superglue Activator is used to further speed up the curing process and to prevent porous materials from absorbing thinner grades of glue.
