Threadlocking:

These adhesives will secure and seal all types of threaded fasteners more reliably than mechanical locking devices. They eliminate the need for prevailing-torque lock nuts, self-locking screws, serrated spring and tab washers, and allow the use of through-holes instead of blind tapped holes.

Retaining:

These adhesives will retain cylindrical assemblies subject to radial and axial forces. Using them permits parts to be slip-fitted together instead of being press-fitted. This eliminates a major cause of stress concentrations so lighter parts with a thinner wall thickness can be used.
