Speeds up the cure time of cyanoacrylate superglue and prevents glues from seeping into porous surfaces

SKU: ACTIVATOR-200ml Categories: ,

Description

Sylmasta Superglue Activator is used as an accelerator for cure times of any grade of cyanoacrylate superglue and for preventing glues being absorbed by porous surfaces.

It comes in a 200ml aerosol and enables high-strength adhesion to take place in seconds on substrates such as steel or PVC plastic where cure time is often a little longer.

Increasing the cure time of superglue is also useful in applications requiring significant volumes of glue, such as gap filling or bonding wide joints.

To use Activator as an accelerator, you spray it over superglue once the glue has been applied or prior to bonding.

Activator can also be used to prevent porous materials from absorbing lower viscosity glues. Coating wood, card, fabrics and other absorbent surfaces with Activator prior to the application of glue ensures that the glue sets instantly, not allowing it the chance to seep.

Sylmasta Activator can be purchased as part of the Superglue & Activator Kit. The Kit includes three grades of cyanoacrylate superglue, Ultra-Fine Nozzles and Activator.

CAE120 Multipurpose Superglue is a medium viscosity glue for instant bonding of plastics, rubber, metal, porcelain, jewellery and ceramics.

CAE1500 High Viscosity bonds rapidly to wood, card, fabric and other absorbent materials. It has a slightly longer bonding to cure time when used on non-absorbent parts, enabling more control over the process.

CAE3 Penetrating is a low viscosity glue as thin as water for penetrating porous surfaces and wicking into joints, cracks and closely fitted parts.

Purchasing the Superglue & Activator Kit offers a reduced rate compared to buying each product separately.
